 OSUK was established 37 years ago as a voluntary organization looking after the social and cultural needs of Odias settled here in United Kingdom. Odisha is a state in India with rich cultural heritage. Our organization has grown from strength to strength and has evolved as a link between Odisha and UK. Our vision is to promote Odia culture and ethos among people interested in Odisha. We regularly organize social and cultural events. The society encourages developmental activities and imbibing British and Odia cultures. MEETING WITH THE LEGACY OF SHIRIDI SAI

 

 

Dear OSUK Members,

 

Guruji Dr Chandra Bhanu Satpathy is a prominent scholar, spiritual thinker and a humanitarian. He is the divine embodiment of many noble virtues such as love compassion, empathy and divinity. 

 

He has been assiduously spreading the message of Shirdi Sai and Indian philosophy for last more than 25 years.

 

Under his inspiration and guidance over 200 national and international forums, and centres for community development were built all over the world including India USA UK Australia New Zealand. These centres are at the forefront of philanthropy, community development and spreading Indian culture and philosophy. 

 

Many of those who came across Guruji say that a brief encounter with him could be a life-changing experience. His charitable work following natural disasters, to the people with disabilities, Leprosy affected patients and the underprivileged is exemplary and an inspiration to all of us.

 

He is coming to London and has kindly agreed to meet the members of the Odia community on 19th Nov 2017 Sunday. 

 

Odisha Society UK would like to cordially invite you all to the free event on 19th of November 2017, Sunday  from 2 pm to 6 pm to be held at "West Lodge Primary School,  Pinner West End Lane, Middlesex, HA5 1AF "
